Fractal Foundry is a fractional product, go-to-market and innovation practice. We work as an embedded leader inside ambitious startups and alongside industrial corporations that need new products to land.
Two practices. One discipline: turn ideas into revenue.
For startups
A senior product and GTM leader, without the full-time hire.
For seed to Series B teams with real technology and an unclear path to repeatable revenue. We embed as your fractional head of product and go-to-market, then hand over a working system.
Product strategyMarket sizing, segment selection, roadmap and the product–market fit evidence investors ask for.
Go-to-marketPricing, packaging, channel and partnership strategy, and first enterprise deals in industrial accounts.
Brand positioningA sharp category story and competitive position that sales, the deck and the website all tell the same way.
For corporates
Innovation that survives contact with the organization.
For industrial and manufacturing leaders whose portfolio needs new growth, and whose innovation efforts keep stalling between the lab and the P&L.
Product strategyPortfolio rationalization, platform consolidation and service-business design that lifts margin.
Innovation consultingStage-gate design, corporate accelerator and startup-engagement programs, and the governance to scale winners.
Partnership strategyFinding, structuring and running partnerships with startups that bring new capability in-house faster.
The same playbook we bring to clients, already run at scale inside a global industrial technology company and two venture-backed startups.

How an engagement runs.
01 · Diagnose
Find the real constraint
Two to three weeks of customer, market and org interviews. Often the blocker is incentives or ownership, not the product.
02 · Forge
Build the system
Strategy, positioning, pricing, roadmap and process, built with your team rather than handed to it.
03 · Scale
Run it, then hand it off
We operate the system alongside your people until it holds, then transition it to a permanent owner.
Fractional leadership
An embedded head of product, GTM or innovation for a set number of days each month, on a monthly retainer with a minimum term.
Fixed-scope sprints
Positioning, market sizing or an innovation-program design, delivered in a few weeks for a fixed fee.
Founder
Milan Kocic
Providence, Rhode Island
Milan has spent his career on the hard part of innovation: getting a new product out of the lab and into a customer’s budget. Over 25 years at Hexagon he led product innovation, built service businesses from scratch and founded the Sixth Sense startup program.
Since then he has run product at GelSight and innovation and partnerships at SmartSkin Technologies, both physical-AI companies selling into manufacturers. He knows both sides of the table: what corporates need from startups, and what startups get wrong about corporates.
